Bedford Ward Candidates

Clare Fraser

Clare Fraser lives on the Heritage Park Estate in Tooting Bec. As a long term renter in the community, Clare knows the challenge that many face to get on the property ladder, and is committed to making housing a top priority. In her spare time Clare likes to make the most of the area’s green spaces like Tooting Common, and swimming at the Lido.

Fleur Anderson

Fleur Anderson has been a Labour Councillor in Bedford ward since 2014. She lives in the ward and her children have gone to St Anselm’s School where she is also a governor. During her time on the Council, Fleur has campaigned to improve road safety outside our local schools and supported hundreds of residents with individual casework. Fleur works for a community centre in Battersea and is passionate about ensuring more local people have a say in what happens in our community. Fleur is the community services and environment spokesperson for Wandsworth Labour and can usually be seen out and about on her bike.

Hector Wakefield

Hector Wakefield is a solicitor who advises several London councils on their public services, so he knows how the public sector works and what it takes to get things done. He specialises in public procurement and public services contracts. Hector lives in Tooting Bec, is a member of Tooting Lido and is on the executive committee of the Friends of Tooting Common. His priorities in office will be housing, health and community groups.
